The EU-GIFT alliance is organising the 1st Seminar Series 2026, a cycle of three seminars hosted by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) on January 23rd and 26th, and February 3rd.
The sessions will address key topics shaping the future of the wine sector, including forensic genetics applied to wine authenticity, circular valorisation of wine industry by-products, and the use of smart sensing systems and IoT technologies to promote more sustainable and data-driven viticulture.
