EDUCATION

One of EU-GIFT’s main objectives is to transform the landscape of higher education, ensuring that teaching and learning excellence are at the forefront of EU-GIFT’s educational vision by providing specialised training in the field of sustainable food and beverage value chains with a geographical identity, and lifelong learning opportunities for the Academia and the whole community.

Our commitment to academic excellence will also be demonstrated by the flexible learning offer of Multiple and Double Degrees, as well as the creation of EU-GIFT joint degrees. In this regard, second-cycle degree programmes will offer the opportunity to simultaneously study at and receive degrees from two or more Alliance HEIs. At Master’s level, the Alliance will co-design the EU-GIFT Joint Master’s Degree in the field of sustainable food and beverage value chains with a geographical identity to offer a cohesive educational experience. Students will have the opportunity to study at different physical campuses while accessing all content and services through the Virtual Campus regardless of their physical location.

The EU-GIFT Joint Doctoral School will serve as a vital nexus connecting education, research, industry, and the community within the Alliance. With this conviction, we will develop the EU-GIFT Joint PhD programme on sustainable food and beverage value chains with a geographical identity which will bridge the gap between academic institutions, industry providers and society, not only by advancing in academic research but also by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and practical skills and expertise that can be directly applied to real-life challenges.
