EU-GIFT (European University for Geographical Identity as a driver for Food systems Transition to sustainibility) is an alliance of 7 European higher education institutions, including Bordeaux Sciences Agro, from 7 European countries. From March 2025 EU-GIFT alliance aims to promote the sustainability, the innovation and the landscape development through the higher education, the research and the cooperation with local stakeholders.

From 19 to 21 January 2026, Bordeaux Sciences Agro is pleased to host the annual meeting of the steering management and quality  committees of the European University Alliance EU-GIFT.

More than 20 representatives from the 7 partner universities have come together to:

 review the outcomes of the project’s first year
 jointly define the strategy and objectives for the second year
During the first day, participants also had the opportunity to discover the Bordeaux Sciences Agro campus, including the facilities of the FarmLabBordeaux project.

The day concluded with a reception held at MECA, organized in partnership with the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
