Staff Week “Innovative Approaches to Services for Students and Staff at EU-GIFT Universities” | University of Geisenheim, Germany

June 29th to July 3rd, 2026

This Staff Week aims to familiarize staff from EU-GIFT universities with the initiative and empower them to promote it within their own institutions. The target group includes professionals (administrative staff)  from International Offices, Examination Offices (i.e.staff that coordinates and implements all assessment processes, including exam scheduling and organization, admission, grading workflows, transcript and certificate issuance, and maintenance of accurate student records in compliance with regulations, etc.), Human Resources, and Career Services. In addition to networking and getting to know one another, participants will explore innovative service models and inclusive support strategies through keynote talks, best-practice sessions, and peer-to-peer workshops. Topics include mobility preparation and integration of international students, welcome services for international scientists, career services and automatic recognition of studies. We warmly invite four representatives from each EU-GIFT university, ideally one from each field of work mentioned above, to participate in the staff week. We also encourage staff to sign up even if you don’t yet feel confident in English—this week is a great chance to try it out and improve. None of us speaks perfect English, and that’s completely okay.

The accompanying program will be held in conjunction with Staff Week “Microcredentials at EU-GIFT universities. From implementation to recognition”, which will take place at the same time.

Funding is provided by the own EU-GIFT University.”
